For this series, i am continuing my Henri Cartier Bresson style of photography which is shot in B&W. he really focuses on geometric shapes and how they complement each picture. he is also known for his use of timing. he also uses the people in his photos but not necessarily as the main focus but rather another "geometric shape" there to just add to the photo. in this series i tried to incorporate all of things to make my pic look like henri's.
This is an interesting set. Most of the photos really use shapes an interesting way and I really enjoy the shots and the perspective of how you take them. However, the geometry doesn't necessarily come across in certain photos. In the last, 3rd to last, and 4th to last photo, the shapes were a bit subtle. You may need to shoot from a different angle or bring them a bit closer to the foreground so they aren't as subtle. Also, the black and white works really well in your photos
ReplyDeleteI really like all of the photos in this set. The placement of every component is really interesting and draws the eye. Next time maybe do more street ones because those are a lot more interesting timing wise than just one object that doesn't move.
ReplyDeletefantastic start. i really enjoyed alll of your photos and think you did a very good job of having a fluent series.
ReplyDeleteNice set of pictures. I really like your first and second picture. They have a lot of geometric shapes and they look very interesting. Great job
ReplyDeleteNice start. I really enjoy the framing in each picture. It reminds of a magazine almost.
ReplyDeleteI really like the second photo you did. It really captures and highlights the geometric shapes in the photo.
ReplyDeletethe framing job is very unique.my favorites are the 1st and second photo as well. great series!
ReplyDeleteReally great shots! I really like the second photo. The model helps create a sense of symmetry because he's standing in the middle and the cars on both sides adds to the shapes. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThese are very once photos. The lighting is dramatic and there is visible symmetry in most of the phots. Some of the phots seem to have no clear subject however, so just find a better angle to take the shot. Nice set.
