Our assignment was called Depth staging. Our mission was to focus on something very closely but also incorporate depth into it. On some of my photos I tried to focus on words and then have my depth. On my last photo above I wanted to add some shape so I really focused on the plywood which left the background unfocused.
Nice photos. I especially like the last one. i like the texture of the picture and object you were shooting. i also think this is a great example of depth staging. however i think you could have shot your third photo from a better angle.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I really like the second picture it i think it's a great example of depth staging. The last picture also looks really good and i like how the background is unfocused. In your second picture I think it looks good but I would have liked it more if it was focused more in the front.
ReplyDeleteI really like your last photo the best. The texture of the plywood is interesting, and stands out of the blurred background, which was a nice touch. The photo that could use the most improvement would be the second photo. Maybe if the background was blurred instead. I just didn't feel the depth in that photo.
ReplyDeleteYour second photo really was great. You took the shot from a great angle that makes the table seem incredibly large making it seem and ultimately, a lot of distance between the action figure and the background. Your first photo could have been improved if you took it from another angle. It doesn't necessarily capture that much depth. However, your other photos are great, they capture depth and are interesting as well.
ReplyDeleteI think that your last photo was the best. I could really see the depth. The way you focused on the wood really made this photo pop! I think that your least developed picture was the first one. I could see where you were trying to create depth but I think that the angle you shot it from makes this picture a little flat. Great shots!
