these are my dorothea lange photos. she shoots in black and white and takes a lot of photos with people it them. not necessarily a portrait but she still will capture emotion in each picture without putting all of she focus on a face.

Depth Repetition and Leading Lines
These pictures are depth repetition. most of my pictures i later edited to be black and white. the only reason why i left the last one colored was because i though the color was really strong yet gentle. i also took two of my photos while on the street.
These is my set of leading lines. my last photo also has elements of repetition but i consider this more leading lines. All of them are in B&W except for the third picture because i wanted to make the bright orange barriers the pop out. All the others are in B&W so that i can emphasize texture because i think that it make the leading lines more apparent.
These are the rest of my depth pictures. these are all the one that i couldn't really find a place for among the perspective and the leading lines. Although in a way they are depth that don't have the same features as the other photos do.

Design 1
this is my series of line design, decorative and leading subject photos. for two of my line design photos i took pictures of cracks in the pavement and for the other i took picture of what looks like a drip stain. I had the most trouble with decorative photos because i don't have a great eye for anything "decorative". I had the easiest time with the Leading to subject photos. I took one of them at alta plaza and another of a gap in the doors at drew. my last was pointing down into the a large bucket with cracked segment at the bottom.

Composition #1
This is my set of rule of thirds photo. i took these photos within a block or two radius of the school. i tried to have the subject of focus be either a round circular shape of a rigid square shape. I also tried to place each subject in the same spot of the "rule of thirds grid" with the exception of one.
this is my set of triangular photos. i either tried to took pictures of objects with a triangular shape or a collection main focuses to create a triangle. one of my pictures is in black and white just so i can emphasize the triangle it creates.
this is my set of diagonal photos. this is the set that challenged me the most. i dont know why but i had trouble finding diagonal lines and taking different angles to create a good diagonal.
